i never listen to his charts - i just sort of gaze over them really to see if i know any of the artists but i never listen to any of them. i think the only time i listened to a list of songs provided by any radiohead member its been jonny with his rap line up. it seems stupid to blog that shit and follow it religiously. sure, i like thom as an artist and everything and its sometimes interesting to find what influences him at times he creates music but i dont want to be exactly like him or anything nor am i going to automatically enjoy everything he enjoys blindly because of a couple name drops.

I love listening to the stuff that he recomends. I might not like all of it, but I can usually appreciate why its interesting or musically valuable. Radiohead introduced me to: Neil Young, R.E.M, Grizzly bear, Can, Modeselecktor and Spank Rock. Its pretty cool to be introduced to world of music you wouldn't normally listen to from the world of radiohead.

I always wait for office charts and appreciate immensely the effort they take to share their inspirations (at least part of it) with listeners. I think it's a great manifestation of honesty and respect with/for the audience.
I do not listen to all tracks they recommend but about 1/4 of them for certain.

If my memory doesn't fail me, on Gilles Peterson's show Thom said sth like initially they started doing the office chart -thing for each other, to share what they've been listening lately. Because before that they were asking each other all the time what they've been listening and this is just an easier way to do that. But the charts I remember seeing are by Thom and Jonny, I wish the others made some too (have they?).
Thom I guess is finding lots of new tracks to listen on Boomkat, he said he visits that site at least once a week or so.

I usually look up at least some of the tracks on these charts, at least the ones I haven't heard before, and not because 'it's been recommended by RH-member' but because I'm always interested in listening to new music. I listen all of Jonny's charts from start to finish just because they are very conveniently in a Spotify-format (or lately they have been, at least), and that's great for a lazy person like me.

Having said that, thanks for the original poster for compiling the links in one post, greatly appreciated :-)

I guess (I'm not sure though) he also mentioned Bleep on some occasion
