Ive jammed this song a few times already. The chords are pretty simple and fun, but its the vocals that are the most fun to do, especially since I have a loop station, which thom is using or something of the like.

Great song. I've been listening to Give up the ghost and Kid A (the album) non-stop the last few days.

It reminds me a little bit of Pyramid Song.

I don't see how this song would actually benefit having radiohead work on this.. it's perfect with just Thom on an acoustic guitar and a loop thingy.

Never doubt Radiohead, whenever we think a song can't be improved upon, and they tinker with it or sometimes even completely revamp it for a studio album... isn't it always amazing?

Why? Isn't the point to this the vocal loops? Thom seems to do them just fine.

i don't see why that has to be the point. the vocal loops could actually be keyboard lines or orchestra for all we know, and he was just filling up the space to do it solo.

and anyway they're not particularly 'difficult' harmonies, i'm pretty sure ed could do them. actually ed may be the one doing the looping a la eiirp.

if it's not ed doing the vocal harmonies, i bet it does stay thom doing the vocal harmonies and ed just compliments it some way with guitar lines, as usual...

I really feel like thom has perfected his sound in this track. The 'In your arms' harmony is spine tingling. 'Gather up the lust in your soul'.

Yes. Yes it is. This is going to be, no, this IS one of my all time favourites. As with the Present Tense, I'm very curious what could come out of a full band version.

It breaks my heart, but in a good way. I think.
