Hey guys. I was just thinking that there might be a lot of MT'ers in Chicago for the weekend of the Atoms For Peace show. As of right now I'm going to both. The Aragon is less than a mile from my house.

Anyway...

I thought it might be a good idea to do a little warm-up concert. As to not overlap with the two main events of the weekend, my band STEREO DISCONNECT will be getting the weekend started with a Friday night, 9:30pm show at Martyr's, which as any Chicagoan will tell you is one of the best venues in the city. Click here for details on Martyrs'

So if you're driving into town for the weekend, or already live here, and are looking for something to do Friday night before the big shows, my band won't disappoint. That's a promise. Every one of us is a huge Radiohead fan and we wear our influences on our sleeves. Click the big logo in my sig to hear what Stereo Disconnect sounds like or see some live youtube videos in HD.

It's only $10 and there's great beer and pizza at this place too. Also tons of restaurants and other bars right outside this place for before/afterwards. We'll be playing with Six Gallery who are also a great band.

mods, please don't take this down for being off topic and self promotional. I know it's a bit of both. But i'm specifically speaking to people who are coming to Chicago for the Atoms show, and this is about a live gig. So I feel this is the best place to put it.

This would def be on my agenda if the person I was going with didn't have to work closing shift on fri.
haha, I just remembered the last time I was In chi for radiohead, there was this really punked out girl holding a sign for atease people to meet up, they all seemed like really silly people. so is there going to be a MT sign holder, can we all wait in the ga line together and hold hands and talk about fish and cal and the hot mt ladies? I'll be looking for one, or, if i see an atease group, imma tell em that atease is for the gays.
I want you to work your way out upon that limb as far as you can.
If you see anything strange, let me know.

LMFAO!!!

Come on, they're like that frat-boy cousin of yours. He's a bit of a douche, but you still gotta love him cuz he's family. Anybody who's a fan enough of radiohead to join at-ease, is ok by me.
