My friend who is also going to the second Roseland show wanted me to post that he has one extra ticket and he is looking to sell it. He is still going to the show(with me and my girl) but wants to make some cash on his extra ticket (this is what happens when you buy a ticket for a new girlfriend and it doesn't end up working out). But I digress, I told him if he wanted to make his money plus more to sell it the day of show but he is nervous and wants to have a buyer previous to the show, so i promised him that I would post it on here just to make him feel better. I also told him not to gouge anyone either, that that was unfair. But he said see what the best offer he can get for it. So again I thought of you guys being that I know a bunch didn't get any tickets. Again, it is only one ticket but I guess it is better than none. Just thought I would give you guys a chance to think about it.

craigslist if he wants to make a profit.

ticket sales on the board should be face value, c'mon you don't want to rip off fellow mt'ers.

Well like I said, if it was mine it would be a different story BUT since it is not I just figured I would give the good folks here the first stab. Personally I still think if he wants to ensure making the most money, that he should sell the ticket at the venue the night of the show because only people serious about buying the ticket will be there with money, but again it is only a courtesy that i would offer it here first.

actually, trying to sell tickets for a show at the venue is super sketchy and almost never works out... you usually end up having to sell it for less.

maybe your friend should stop being a greedy bastard and just try to get the money that he paid back.

Well actually I have had the best luck selling tickets at the venue. My one friend sold one of her tickets for TOOL at the Hammerstein ballroom for 400 bucks and wasn't even trying to make money off of it. Someone just offered.

And maybe if someone that calls someone a greedy bastard can also just be jealous. If you are not interested in the ticket simply ignore the topic, simple as that. Who am I to judge someone that wants to make money especially if they need the cash. If someone walked up to me and offered a few hundred bucks for my extra ticket, I would sell it in a new york second. I understand the whole being fair and helping out a fellow fan (I have done it before) but again some people could really use the money. I really don't think it is a big deal and it sucks that some didn't get tickets but we have all been in that situation but it doesn't mean that I would be so jaded and immature to be all pissed off and insult someone, ESPECIALLY on a forum where I did it online, lame. So AGAIN if you are not interested in the ticket don't waste your time being rude just move on with your life. Thank You - Drive Thru.

i have my tickets, thanks. i just don't like greedy bastards that try and rape fans. if your friend wants to make some money, your friend should boogie his greedy little bottom over to craigslist or ebay and away from the fine people here. your friend really needs to stop being so defensive, if he needed money that badly, why is he buying tickets to shows? he obviously can't afford them if an extra hundred bucks (that he wasn't planning on getting in the first place) is going to make or break him. if i were you or your friend i wouldn't get so uppity and self-righteous about rudeness, you are the one trying to scalp a ticket on a radiohead fan board. fuckity bye.

hahah. you sound a little bit uppity there yourself. The only thing I don't understand is why you insist on writing back constantly. Nothing is cooler than the whole tough guy smack talk online, it def. shows the intelligence and bravery one holds. I'm sure the "fine" people here that you so (ass kisser) nicely called them might of wanted the ticket, but even if no one wanted it, as I have said before it will be sold at the show. Not to mention that the "fine" people on here are most likely intelligent enough to make a decision if they want the ticket or not. But thank goodness you are here to save the day from the evil doers trying to take advantage of the feeble minded. Somewhere a parade marches for you and your cause. T shirts should adorn your handsome face......
