Lollapalooza Festival, Chicago, August 1st

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Radiohead will perform at Lollapalooza this year. Nine Inch Nails will be headlining one of the other dates. Line up announcement next month.

Actually, they'll be playing Friday night, 8/1, the 7th anniversary, as serendipity would have it, of their 1st Grant Park gig (the bootleg of which I sent you). I heard from a buddy (an entertainment lawyer) who has a contact with the city.

i doubt it man.

 

its radiohead, they'd have to play sunday night. unless they get an even bigger act to headline sunday.

 

we'll see tho.

Well, I was holding out for an ampitheater gig....but it's nice to have some closure as to where/when they will be performing. Lollapalooza, here I come! :thumbsup:

Not if it conflicts with their schedule, they don't...and what difference does it make what night they play? They're still the "biggest" act of the fest!

 

on the first two nights [fri-sat] they have a time constraint...sunday they wouldnt.
