iamthewaaalrus 11
this isn't a "hear scenario but I saw a RH quote in the oddest of places today. Inside cover of a cheap dollar store made in Korea notebook with cartoon cats on it - entitled Tiny Kitty... a little b/w image of two cats a ball of wool and the words beneath: "you're so very special I wish I was special" I shit you not! Its probably from EFADS (EVERYTHING FOR A DOLLAR STORE for those Canadians out there, or some shit like that) ...btw i have loads of those and they always have misspelt words in them... frankly, i think they give all the reject pile notebooks to North America because we dumbasses apparently "cant read"

otanachos 10
A week ago, I was listening to the radio and it was playing Talking Head's song Radio Head, which was already surprising but right after it they began to play Street Spirit (Fade Out), imagine my surprise. shadow link 10
Toby moulton singing exit music (for a film) on Australian Idol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ0k9ntHbTo Singing creep in the first round http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdeofgwSf6g&feature=related I think you could enjoy these songs if you hadn't heard radiohead live, but if you then go and watch say, exit music at belfort and creep live at the mtv beach house, these covers are pretty weak sauce. Still, I think exit music is a good choice for karaoke. Edited October 20, 2009 by shadow link

Tristan. 11
caught me off guard. My father was flipping through the channels, and then BAM! It was on MTV tr3s So how does this work out? I can understand that their EMI stuff is all over the place cause they don't have that much control over it, but Bodysnatchers, too? What's up?

I had thought of that too, but I just don't know. Oh yeah, and I heard a cover of High and Dry at Wendy's. hehe and i was wearing a radiohead shirt. Might've been this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otvsMONDksA but I'm not sure because I couldn't hear very well over all the noise. heymel 10
I saw New York, I Love You tonight. When I heard the first couple notes of "No Surprises" that plays in one of the segments, all I could do was chuckle. That song is being used everywhere it seems.
Permanesia 10
And nobody seems to know what it means. "Ooh, what a pretty song, we'll shove it in there." I turned on my XM radio this morning before bed and the electronica station started playing a remix of Videotape. Wasn't bad.

Pustulio 10
Yesterday, I went to a Julian Casablancas gig, and before they started playing, there was some music playing (from what I remember, Joy Division, Tegan & Sara, Lykke Li, and some other music). A few minutes before they started playing, they played Atoms For Peace. Honestly, I think I was more excited when that played than the actual show for some reason.
girl/boy 10
saw silversun pickups a few weeks ago. i know this is a pretty pointless statement but they had the best house music of any concert ive ever been too. in addition to where i end and you begin and the eraser they played about half of neon bible and a couple portishead songs too. and the concert itself has awesome too, prob the loudest show ive ever been to
Trifle 25
I forgot to mention this earlier, but Bodysnatchers were played as a part of a mixtape before a Muse gig this October. I thought it was hilarious. For some reason... And earlier this year, I was in some record store in Manchester and they played OK Computer in the background and I didn't want to leave the store at all, and wanted to say 'oh shush!' to all the babbling people around me ;-)
