skin of the night 9
One gripe though; I think it sounded better where Thom sang "Hit the bottom to escape" in a high voice, like in the old version. It sounds ok deep, but I liked it more when it was high. It sounded more desperate and it fits better with the rest of the song I think.
Sweet Jesus! 11
when the drums kick back in, 'hit the button and escape', it's like the camera is tracking back, the credits are rolling and the full genius of the band is finally revealed. yeah, that's definitely the highpoint

Ol'Master 10
Can't stand the drums. I thought they were going to go for a minimalistic Sail to the Moon approach, it's gone from serene to a convoluted mess. That said, I know that given a week I'll be hopelessly in love with them. The climax is well done.
Killing Cars 10
ol master your sign is the best ever anyway i think the drum gives a good punch for the song, looks like radiohead is decided to not make sleep the public anymore, it reminds me of let down, the drums gives a big emotion, but i agree with you, drums stykle like sail to the moon would have been cool too
The Ranger 10
sail to the moon got boring quickly for me i don't think this ever will
chalktwo 10
HOLY SHIT when the drums and bass came in i shat myself Agreed.
chalktwo 10
I like the drums... but I feel like there should be two versions of this song, one with the drums that more upbeat and one without that more airy.

The climax is well done. i don't really see how it's "convoluted" at all, it's extremely tidy and calculated. the drums are so kinetic, it's a whole new feel so obviously if you were expecting something else and it's a problem to you that you didn't get it, it's going to be a problem for you. me, personally, i think it's hands down the coolest thing they've done
