wait, what?

Planet Telex?

Talk Show Host?

interesting.

well yeah. i was operating under 2 definitions of creepy: scary/unsettling, and sociosexual impropriety.

Planet Telex wants to walk home a school kid and whatever. Talk Show Host is more scary suspenseful.

both 'creepy,' but different kinds of creepy.

agree with most of those.

Pyramid Song

Videotape

Planet Telex

2+2=5

Sit Down, Stand Up

Talk Show Host

Follow Me Around

still plenty more to choose from.

Interesting.

I wouldn't say any of these stile me as "creepy." Are you also considering lyrics here? I suppose follow me around has a certain "every breath you take" feeling.

HTTT as a whole is a particularly terrifying album. I know people seem to be all misty eyed about Bush anymore because he plays picture painting and in light of recent events - probably not entirely irrational.

But the 00s were spectacularly horrifying years and I feel like HTTT reported on that fairly well.

Sit Down Stand Up

We Suck Young Blood

Where I End and You Begin

It's just a creepy album all over.

i'm definitely considering lyrics. guess i shouldn't have excluded my rationale for each pick in that post.

also, wasn't sure what definition of creepy was intended in the OP.

Pyramid Song (music sounds scary creepy)

Videotape (the road to creepy is paved with good intentions. might be projecting here but this song reminds me of the gift someone gave me before she committed suicide. and the messages she left on my machine that i've kept in case i ever want to hear her voice again and cry a lot for a month.)

Planet Telex (explained)

2+2=5 (the devil)

Sit Down, Stand Up (creepy oppression)

Talk Show Host (would make a tense short film. plus the music is creepy.)

Follow Me Around (my former self chasing me and following me around? yes. creepy.)

To me, Bodysnatchers has always had a bit of creepiness...

Blink your eyes... Once for yes, twice for no...

They got a skin and they put me in

Your mouth moves only with someone's hand up your ass...

I see they're coming...

Definitely a creepy song.

Pulk/Pull

I tried to fall asleep to this song once and the music really messed with my head. That ascending noise that mimics a choir is terrifying.
