Who else listens to early Muse as a "substitute Radiohead"

Recommended Posts

I rarely listen to my favorite music (such as Radiohead) so as to not "wear it out." When I don't want to listen to RH but want something with a Radioheadsy feel I listen to early Muse (up to Absolution). It sounds like a more gawdy and hard rocking version of RH and the singer straight rips of Thoms vocal style. But it doesn't matter because the music is still good.

I believe listening to radiohead actually detracts from the experience of enjoying their music.

i just sit in front of the album sleeves in quiet awe and listen to muse instead.

Muse as a substitute Radiohead? I hope this is a joke! You are kidding, right?

I would rather read something like: Bjork, Flying Lotus or some cool people like that being substitutes of Radiohead when you don't want to listen to the band. But Muse? really? Come on, you can do it better.
