Order changes all the time, but Amnesiac has been climbing up the ranks lately. I think OK Computer is so low due to overexposure – I've been listening to the album for nearly 20 years and hear the singles everywhere. I can't listen to 'Paranoid Android', 'Karma Police' or 'No Surprises' without cringing.

1. In Rainbows

2. Kid A

3. Hail To The Thief

4. Amnesiac

5. The King of Limbs

6. OK Computer

7. The Bends

8. Pablo Honey

Hail To the Thief

Amnesiac

In Rainbows

OK Computer

KID A

The King of Limbs

The Bends

Pablo Honey.

This is an emotional list.  Hail To the Thief is what cemented my passion for them. It's what made me a serious fan.

Amnesiac was my first real immersion in their music. I wasn't ready for KID A, i found Amnesiac more accessible and inviting.

In Rainbows made me a super, obsessed fan.

Anyway.

Intellectually, here's my list of what are their best albums as far as musicality, influence, importance, etc:

KID A

OK Computer

In Rainbows

Amnesiac

Hail To the Thief

The King of Limbs

The Bends

Pablo Honey

man, been a long time since I posted on this site.....but what can I say, lp9 has pulled me back in and given me those good 'ol feelings that only Radiohead can do.   My ranking....which is better then your ranking.....but not as valuable of a contribution........

1 - OK Comp - the 'it' album of my life

2 - bends - close second, music is a personal thing and this was a soundtrack of my youth

3 - kid a - took me a while when it first hit, but grew to love it

4 - in rainbows - very refreshing

5 - amnesiac - shows how awesome rh is for me when this is at 5

6 - httt - underrated in my humble opinion

7 - king of limbs - 'eh' after my high expectations, but a couple great tunes still

8 - Pablo - to me its not nearly as bad as many think, and its fun to jam to immature rh sometimes

Tier 1 (5/5 - Every song, other than Fitter Happier, is absolutely flawless. These albums kill me.)

Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer

Tier 2 (4/5 - Mostly good but only a couple perfect songs per album.)

Kid A, In Rainbows, Hail to the Thief

Tier 3 (3/5 - Only four good songs. Pyramid Song is not one of them.)

Amnesiac

Tier 4 (1/5 - Yikes.)

The King of Limbs

In Rainbows

The Bends

OKC

Kid A

TKOLs (based on quality, not quantity)

HTTF

Amnesiac

PH

The new album could well place in the top 3 ...

Ok so last time I posted in this thread was a few years ago and I can't remember what my choices were:

The 2016 version of me thinks:

OK Computer

In Rainbows
Kid A

Moon Shaped Pool?

Hail to the Thief

Amnesiac

King of Limbs

The Bends

Pablo Honey

But what does this list matter? I mean the only album I don't think is excellent is Pablo Honey and so I'd be more than happy to listen to any of the others.

you'd be surprised how many people i've met would agree with that, except kid a,amnesiac and maybe king of limbs wouldn't even be on the list

you know the odd thing is that I see on here that people have consensus that Electioneering is the weakest on OKC, which I would agree with, but besides creep it was actually the first RH song I heard. I specifically remember being in like 6th grade and my uncle put OKC on shuffle and it came on and I was like WHAT IS THIS  :rockout:

Songs worse than Electioneering:

Fitter Happier

The Tourist

Lucky

Exit Music

No Surprises

Aside from Fitter Happier I love all of those songs but I definitely dont think Electioneering is the worst

I have no idea how AMSP will sound in a year or two but right now:

A Moon Shaped Pool

Ok Computer

Kid A

Amnesiac

Hail To The Thief

The King of Limbs

In Rainbows

The Bends

Pablo Honey

As in order of preference - objectively I think AMSP will have to prove itself over and over for a decade to outweigh the top 2(or3)
