Pickled Dog got a reaction from pleasant experience in photography thread
once again been away from this thread for too long.

i wasn't going to post these here, but meh why not. now don't go judging me - i'ma explain these before just posting them. i'm still studying photography at A Level and have excepted my offer from University of Newport to do a degree in Photographic Art next year. i do not have very long left at college. six weeks now, i think? i kinda wanted to go out with a bang. this is my final photography project at this school and i wanted to really push the boat out. everyone always does 'street' photography or fashion photography. nothing against them doing that, but i wanted to do something different.

so i decided to do gender and how genders are percieved through art and photography. the exam topic was "WAYS OF SEEING" and you're meant to kinda take from that whatever you want, so i read the book of the same name by John Berger which is a feminist analysis of nudes in the Renaissance and many artists fascination with voyeurism. things like 'male gaze', 'queer theory', etc. galore. i also looked at photographer Sarah Lucas and her representations of sex and gender (and her humourous/crude use of fruit in her work?!). so this is what i've come out with so far. they aren't really NSFW ... but suggestive, i guess.
