  1. Each to their own I guess! Just thought the live version had a bit more punch I guess.
  2. I know exactly what you mean. I'm totally anal about hearing live recordings of any band before their studio version is released in some format. I was a bit disapointed in GUTG studio version, but for me the biggest crime was 'Up On The Ladder' which I thought was amazing live, but the studio version was crappy. I find it harder to get a feel for the song in a live based setting too, so probably won't listen to the new tracks until they're all 'studioed up'.
  3. I find 'Analyse' to be a beautiful track. Also love 'And It Rained All Night' I just find it to be OK. I played it to death when it first came out, but probably haven't listened to it in about 3 years, except for the above mentioned tracks.
  4. OK Computer. I just think that as a record it's pretty flawless. In Rainbows is a fantastic record though. It was so fresh to hear them going for a more warmer sound.
  5. Perhaps slightly controversial... but I find The Eraser kind of... meh. Don't get me wrong, a few tracks are quite special. But as an album piece it falls short for me.
  6. Seriously guys, if anyone takes anything Liam Gallagher say's seriously then you need your heads checked. He is a master troll, and lot's of people fall for it.
  7. This album is basically going to be 12 tracks of Treefinger esq soundscapes with Weird Fishes/Arpeggi backing vocals.
  8. Like a big tree, it grows over a long period of time. I hated it at first, just coudn't get into it. But, after literally about 20 listens, I got the feel of it. Still don't rate it with Radiohead's best, but it's a strong record. Not a weak track, but not an absolute classic either.
  9. Thom, Have you ever picked your nose and eaten the findings?
  10. Well said sir. Some people take things far to seriously.....
  11. Hunting Bears thom the world is a bit shit, but surely theres some good positive things you can write about, only once and a while!!!!
  12. 7 a little bit long for my liking to be honest, theres a couple of songs that would of served better as b-sides, we suck young bloody, myxy, punchup.... maybe even the gloaming even tho the live version is ace!!
