I appreciate the feedback. I wanted to know where your picture there was from if you don't mind, thanks.

    I've been working with different tunings and I found this one worked well. It's G, G, D, A, E, G
  3. Perfect timing for me to get a new macbook pro; got the email last night and just listened through all. Lots of nice hidden effects in there that I hadnt noticed yet listening to the entire song. I guess my plan really is to find some serial crack to get logic pro opening for this new beast, crack open like 18 tracks and , well... eat a bunch of mushroom chocolate with a classical percussionist friend of mine and see what kind of shit comes out of my Rhodes, Farfisa and bunch of Alesis'. Especially excited to hear what a full organ sounds like applied to the string part; too bad all you DJs got rid of your organs already:yeah: PS best $1 ever spent
  4. I was watching the episode Castravalva (Peter Davison series) great score in this one. I just realized that the verse of Up ON The Ladder has the same chord progression and similar synth (the high backing synth part in the verse)
  5. Its an herb in the sage family and its still legal for the time being. The effect is different for everyone but usually involves either going to a spacial plane or inside your own body (I'm always the latter)
  6. Salvia is actually quite hard to smoke and I would recommend u not even try it until you're at least 18 years old. It is much stronger (and yuckier tasting) than anyone can prepare you for, and if youre not using a decent bong or waterpipe you wont be going to salvia land. In addition, its one where if you don't get the right effect you get a sort of "limbo" ey high where you feel yourself being pulled back to a door, and its annoying for ten minutes because you probably wont want to or be able to take another hit of the stuff. Build up your lungs, work them out. Become very experienced with how you function high before Salvia because the trips can be intense enough to make you : stop breathing, think you are dead, scream at the top of your lungs, swing your arms wildly, etc. etc. So obviously have a completely SOBER sitter your first few times.
  7. its a very strange drug that is legal for the time being. Its an herb in the sage family that u can make more potent through extracting it, and it causes bizarre intense trips for about five minutes.
  8. further explanation on enjoyment: have cup of tea ready. mix pure thc kiff in with salvia. Enhanced the effect for sure. I'd done salvia thrice? and this was definitely the best trip I've had (the other times were not alone in the dark, and that was the problem it seems)
  9. smoke salvia before listening to bangers and mash... make sure youre high as fuck first. turn on the visualizer in iTunes to fullscreen, dark room, and u had better be pretty decently close. then see the floating flaming heads of Radiohead laugh with u...
  10. Go Slowly and Last Hospitals are complete shite. Bangers and Mash went from rockign as hell to "interesting". I can't believe it actually happened but I finally hate a Radiohead album.
  11. for those who (like me) find after listening to the album a couple of times that the tracklisting is wonky, here's an alternative that I've been using. All I Need Reckoner 15 Step Bodysnatchers Jigsaw Falling Into Place Faust Arp House of Cards Nude Videotape Weird Fishes/Arpeggi I find the tracks flow together much more smoothly and it drags less at the end. And I don't think anyone can complain with ending on Arpeggi instead of Videotape.
  12. Both are fake, as usual. The Johnny Greenwood one contains the quote "the band are currently working on album for release in the summer of 2006". Sloppy.
  13. Listened to the whole album twice. Would it have killed them to put album art in the file?
  14. Faust as in DR Faustus? Would match with the line "mephistopheles is just beneath" in Videotape (mephistopholes pulls dr. Faustus down to the underworld).
