  1. FAKE Now that Phil is doing a solo tour, I'd say a new album is at least 2 years away.
  2. Omigawl! Omigawl! Cool, but as a general rule of thumb you should add at least a year to the timeframe that is first mentioned for a Radiohead album release. So Ed says next year - I won't be expecting anything until 2011, probably later.
  3. As ridiculous as this sounds, I think it may actually be true.
  4. This may have been asked and answered before. If so.... sorry, I tried searching. But, I was curious if there was any discernable time signature to the first half of Twisted Words. I know when Jonny comes in with the "verse riff" he's playing 5/4 over a 4/4 beat, but I can't figure out the part before that. The chords changes seem to come at almost random intervals. Has anyone deciphered the time signature/pattern of the first half of the song?
  5. I'm guessing (and hoping) that this is an intentional leak meant as a clue of things to come. The text in the nfo file sounds too much like Radiohead for it not to be. Also, it'd be cool if the first few seconds of the song are a lead-in from another song... maybe a clue that there are more songs on the way?
  6. http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/12962-shout-at-the-doner/ Saw this today, and the cover seems to be an allusion to the radiohead bear. I've never heard of this band and was just wondering if there was any connection between them and radiohead...
  7. Ya, I saw that, just thought the story deserved a second mention. (Actually, not really... my deepest apologies)
  8. ...but Thom doesn't like Kanye: http://www.twentyfourbit.com/post/78294061/radioheads-thom-yorke-snubbed-kanye-west-at-the Kind of a dick move, but Kanye deserves it.
  9. I have to say I'm a little dissapointed with Prefix's reaction. Clearly I was speaking to the far-reaching poignancy of Radiohead's music - it's power to pertain to all aspects of the human experience... including poo.
  10. ...a real gassy one - equal parts gaseous and solid discharge. Anyway, I had quite the transcendent moment. I let out this "swooshy," high-pitched fart that lasted a few seconds. It resonated in the toilet bowl to create a powerful, very distinct sound. I immediately recognized it as the alien-like guitar noise that Ed makes at the end of Videotape. Seriously, it sounded like he was in the stall with me playing as I dumped. It was truly magical. A calm came over me as I finished my dump, and I left the bathroom stall feeling satisfied and thrilled that I was able to inadvertently replicate one of my favorite Radiohead sounds using my ass. Anyways, I just thought I'd share that with everyone. Maybe some of you have also experienced Radiohead sounds occuring naturally in everyday phenomena.

  12. Ya, I got that too. Pretty crappy version of the song actually. The J-man gets really out of tune at the end.
  13. Hail to the Thief and ELECTIONEERING and HUNTING BEARS
