  1. Totally. Definitely my bottom two on that record. But OTOH, Morning Bell/Amnesiac is one of my favorites from Amnesiac, both as a reinterpretation of the Kid A version and just as a freaking cool song. Couldn't agree more.
  2. Alright, how about Hitler's musings on ? Good for a laugh, eh?
  3. I used to agree but the Scotch Mist version totally changed it for me. Something about the way Thom sang "you've got a head full of feathers" and how he looks right into the camera at the end just made it all work for me. Now I adore it.
  4. I'm assuming this hasn't been posted here since it was uploaded to YouTube on March 7 2011 and only has 6000-odd views, but it's really something. Definitely gave me goosebumps/pimples the .
  5. The best/most abhorrent line I saw (describing the cover of Amnesiac):
  6. You shoulda been drinkin', you'da done it right away.
  7. Hmmmm, hadn't thought of white. I'll concede that.
  8. So this might be the booze talking, but I was just taking a piss and was struck by the thought that I can very easily picture each song from In Rainbows as having a distinct color from the rainbow to match the feel of the song. Behold: 1. 15 Step - Orange 2. Bodysnatchers - Red 3. Nude - Green 4. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi - Blue 5. All I Need - Indigo 6. Faust ARP - Gray (this one I'm not too sure about) 7. Reckoner - Dark Blue 8. House of Cards - Violet 9. Jigsaw Falling Into Place - Yellow 10. Videotape - Black White (duh) Thoughts? Also, on an unrelated note and contrary
  9. Hail to the Thief was my first Radiohead album, followed by Kid A and OK Computer. Hail was (in most places) easy to get into; Kid A was nigh-impossible, however (OKC took a little time but not much). But once I was able to really take the time to absorb Kid A, it became and has since remained my favorite Radiohead album. Something about the way all the songs (incl. Treefingers) fit together so well. If I could only listen to one RH album for the rest of my life, that would be it (or LP8...... maybe).
  10. Forgive me if this thread has already been done to death (or at all) and feel free to bring down the Hammer of Moderation if it has BUT... If one makes the (granted, massive) assumption that LP8 will be out in Q1 or early Q2 2011, does it seem possible or likely that Radiohead would get themselves on the bill for Bonnaroo, which is in mid-June? This will be the 10th year for the festival, and some of you will recall that RH was the headliner 5 years ago (and put on an amazing show). Myself, I would pay $400 or more for a ticket to that.
  11. Personally, I'm hoping for an April-May release just in time for them to belatedly work their way onto the bill at Bonnaroo. If you were at the '06 'roo, you know what I mean.
  12. The Gloaming. And mine: A Hereafters Oven Wolf Yup Usury
  13. Amazing. I will be promptly stealing this. You can have Lucky Bangers Up The Walls but you definitely get the short end of that stick, sir.
